Conformément à l'article 10 du Traité OHADA, la publication des actes uniformes au journal officiel d'un État partie est sans influence sur leur entrée en vigueur immédiate. Par conséquent, la rupture d'un contrat de bail commercial doit revêtir certaines formes prescrites à peine de nullité telles que le caractère judiciaire prévu à l'article 101 de l'AUDCG et le juge des référés demeure compétent pour prononcer l'expulsion lorsqu'il n'y pas de contestation sérieuse.

On 10 April 2025, a strategic meeting was held in Abidjan between OHADA and the Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-UMOA).
