Start of the new school year for the “OHADA Lawyer” Diploma from the Panthéon-Assas Paris 2 and Paris 13 Nord Universities / Launching cocktail at Eversheds LLPLaw firm
On October 24, 2014, marked the first day session of the “OHADA lawyer” diploma delivered by the Universities of Panthéon-Assas Paris 2 and Paris 13 Nord.
This first promotion comprises 26 students coming from various hails who were selected after having graduated from a Master 1 or during the course of their professional careers.
At the end of this first day session, a cocktail was organized at the Eversheds LLP Law firm offices in Paris, a number of lawyers, professors and notaries being present to celebrate. Numerous OHADA textbooks, in particular OHADA Codes, were distributed to the “OHADA Lawyer” students on this occasion.
The Dean of the University Paris 13, Mr Didier GUEVEL, Professor Marie GORÉ, co-director, in the name of Mr Guillaume LEYTE, President of the Panthéon-Assas University, Mr. Cyril GRIMALDI, Co-director of the diploma, Professor at University Paris 13 Nord, and Mr Boris MARTOR, Attorney at law, EVERSHEDS LLP Paris, conveyed their warm words of thanks to all the persons who contributed to the launching of this new diploma and offered their encouragements to the students.
This diploma, entirely dedicated to OHADA law, is very specific and is delivered by professors or practicioners from Africa or Europe. It covers all matters included in the OHADA Uniform Acts.
Initiated by the “association Henri Capitant”, it benefits from various public and private supports, notably from the Conseil Supérieur du Notariat, the Fondation pour le Droit Continental and from the Eversheds LLP Law firm.
