OHADAC Conference, June 17 and 18, 2008 / PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAÏTI
ACP Legal Association with the contribution of Pointe-a-Pitre Chamber of Commerce and Industry, of the Regional Council of Guadeloupe and RECIC Project (strengthening of Institutional and trade actors capacities in the Caribbean area) organizes a OHADAC Conference which will take place at Montana Hotel in Port au Prince in Haiti on June 17 and 18, 2008.
The main purpose of the Conference is to make a presentation of the OHADAC project (Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in the Caribbean) ; a large range of speakers and participants will take part to the event: law experts, university authorities, business and politician authorities of the Caribbean area; it will an opportunity for an exchange of analysis on the interest of the possibilities of application of OHADAC and also to exchange on the works which have already been initiated by the workshops of the countries interested by the project. It will also be an opportunity to strengthen the necessary links for the development of the OHADAC network.
This high level OHADAC event in HAÏTI will also constitute a prime opportunity to highlight OHADA's success which, due to the OHADAC momentum currently taking shape, arouses a great interest and growing admiration in Latin America and in the Caribbean.
