ERSUMA activities in Chad and in the Democratic Republic of Congo for may 2018

The Higher Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) organises two major activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 14 to 18 May 2018 and in Chad from 22 to 25 May 2018.
A- ACTIVITIES IN KINSHASA (DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONG0)
1. Training N°1 on the theme: “Implementing the new Uniform Act on accounting law and financial reporting (AUDCIF): requirements, techniques and methods”
Trainers:
- Mr. Boubacar KANTE, Certified Chatered Accountant, Member of Ordre National des Experts-comptables et Comptables Agréés (ONECCA) of Mali, ERSUMA Trainer.
- Mr. Oswald CHODATON, Certified Chartered Accountant. Auditor. Lecturer in Management Sciences at the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin). Partner with ExCCA.
Target audience: chartered accountants, finance and accounting directors, finance and administrative directors, chief accountants, executives and officers of public communities, accounting officers, management controller, partners of accounting departments, auditors, financials tax advisers, judges, notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, judicial representative, corporate advisers, managers, researchers, economic operators, any person working in the area accounting and persons interested.
Dates: from 14 to 16 May 2018 (03 days)
Cost: 225.000 FCFA, corresponding to USD 450, subsidized by the World Bank in the framework of its Investment Climate Improvement Support Program (PACI)
A discount of 10% will be granted to a group with three (03) registrations.
2. Training session No.2 on the theme: “Mastering the new legal framework on arbitration and mediation in the OHADA Space”.
Trainers:
- Maître Narcisse AKA, Secretary General of the Arbitration Center of the OHADA Common Court of Justice and Arbitration
- Mrs Bintou BOLI DJIBO, Business Lawyer, Arbitrator, Mediator, Permanent Secretary of the Centre of Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation of Ouagadougou (CAMCO)
Target audience: Magistrates, arbitrators, mediators, managers of arbitration and mediation centers, accountants, notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, legal representatives, corporate managers, academics, economic operators and any other interested person.
Dates: 15 to 18 May 2018 (04 days)
Cost: 350,000 FCFA
A 10% discount is granted for groups of at least three (03) registrations.
3. ERSUMA Matinées
The ERSUMA Matinées will be conducted by Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Director General of ERSUMA
3.1. Research Matinées:
Theme: “OHADA and corporate performance”
Target audience: Researchers, students, jurists and anyone interested.

Cost: Free of charge
3.2. Training Matinées
Theme N°1: “Immunity from execution in OHADA space”
Target audience: lawyers, bailiffs, corporate or bank advisers and anyone interested.

Cost: 50.000 FCFA, corresponding to USD 100
Theme N°2: “legal arrangements on corporate development in OHADA space”
Target audience: lawyers, bailiffs, corporate or bank advisers and anyone interested

B- ACTIVITIES IN NDJAMENA (CHAD)

Target audience: Researchers, students, jurists and anyone interested.
Date and time: Tuesday 22 May 2018 from 03pm to 06pm
Venue: University of Ndjamena
Cost: Free of charge
C- REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
- Fill and send the registration form to ERSUMA;
- Pay the training fees amounting to:
- 225 000 FCFA or USD 450 for the training on revised UA on accounting law and financial reporting (Ndjamena and Kinshasa);
- 350 000 CFA or USD 700 for the training on alternative dispute resolution methods (Kinshasa);
- 50 000 CFA or USD 100 for Training Matinées (Ndjamena and Kinshasa).
Students and postgraduates willing to attend the trainings will have a 40% discount on the cost of training after justifying their status (a scanned copy of student registration certificate in support of the application). Applications shall be sent to the Director General of ERSUMA through the e-mail address ersuma@ohada.org . The reduction shall not apply to the cost of Training Matinées.
The training fees shall cover the equipment and teaching materials, coffee breaks and lunch during the training period. Travel, accommodation and other restoration expenses shall be borne by the participant.
