Handover ceremony between Bissau Guinea and Equatorial Guinea for the presidency of the Council of Ministers of OHADA

On Thursday, 20 February 2020, in the Conference Room of the Ministry of Justice in Malabo (Republic of Equatorial Guinea), the handover ceremony for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) took place between the outgoing President of the Council of Ministers, the Republic of Guinea Bissau, represented by H.E Mrs Ruth MONTEIRO, Minister of Justice and Human Rights, and the incoming President of the Council of Ministers, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, represented by H.E. Mr Salvador ONDO NCUMU, Minister of Justice, Worship and Penitentiary Institutions.
This handover ceremony was chaired by the Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, H.E. Angel MASIE MUBUY, in the presence of H.E. César AUSTO MBA ABOGO, Minister of Finance, Economy and Planning, H. E. Mr. César AUSTO MBA ABOGO, Minister of Finance, Economy and Planning, H.E Pastor MICHA ONDO BILE, Minister in charge of Trade and the promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises, H.E. Mrs Rime BOSSIO RIOKALO, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice and the Permanent Secretary of OHADA, Prof. Emmanuel Sibidi DARANKOUM.
During his working visit, the Permanent Secretary of OHADA met successively with H.E. Mr Salvador ONDO NCUMU, Minister of Justice, Worship and Penitentiary Institutions, the President of the Commission of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), Prof. Daniel ONA ONDO, H.E. Pastor MICHA ONDO BILE, Minister in charge of Trade and the promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises.
The Permanent Secretary exchanged views with the personalities he met on various subjects pertaining to the life of the Organisation.
The Permanent Secretary of OHADA, Prof. Emmanuel Sibidi DARANKOUM and the outgoing President of the Council of Ministers of OHADA, H.E. Ruth MONTEIRO also paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, sitting President of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of OHADA, H.E. TEODORO OBIANG NGUEMA MBASOGO.
The Permanent Secretary thanks the Equato-Guinean authorities for the warm welcome and the diligence executed for the success of the handover ceremony between the Republic of Guinea Bissau and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea for the Presidency of OHADA.
