In a complex world economy, rather than a global one, where the western leadership gradually loses influence, the common law legal hegemony will have to leave a place to other legal traditions: Islamic, Roman & Civil law, African, Asian... traditional models. The dynamics of the public intervention in the economy, -especially in this period-, as well as the existence of OHADA, COMESA, ASEAN, MERCOSUR, tomorrow of OHADAC institutional laws and regulations should provide additional legal models. Developing the diversity in available legal options is possible, and good indeed, with a view to a diversified economic development, closer to the needs and the feelings of the different peoples of the world, for a more distributed, fair and equal economic growth. * Ignazio Castellucci is an Argentinian born citizen, Laurea in Giurisprudenza from the University of Rome, Italy, professor at the University of Macao, PRC, and former Lecturer at the University of Asmara, Eritrea.
