Specialty diploma in enforcement procedures & certificate in ohada arbitration

The Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), actually launched its degree training courses on 17 September 2024 for students enrolled in the OHADA Arbitration Certificate (CAO) and on 30 September 2024 for students enrolled in the Specialty Diplomas in Corporate Governance with a major in Corporate Administration (DSGE-AE) and in OHADA Procedures with a major in Enforcement Procedures (DSPO-PE), for the academic year 2024-2025.

The launch ceremony was marked by three (03) inaugural lectures delivered by the CAO coordinator, Dr Achille André NGWANZA; the DSGE-AE coordinator, Prof. Charles MOUMOUNI, and the DSPO-PE coordinator, Pr Joseph F. DJOGBENOU. These lessons were followed by a speech by the Director General of ERSUMA, Dr Karel Osiris Coffi DOGUE, and the launch speech by the OHADA Permanent Secretary, Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE.

The pedagogical and technical team responsible for the degree courses then met with all the trainees to discuss details pertaining to the presentation and methodology of e-learning courses, as well as practical information relating to the use of the ERSUMA Digital Training Platform. Sequel to these presentations, was the questions and answers session which lasted about one hour during which organizers of the training provided accurate answers to the concerns of trainees.

All in all, about one hundred and ninety-one (191) trainees are registered for this first batch of OHADA degree-based training courses. All courses are ongoing and are unfolding in accordance with the pedagogical objectives set for the 2024-2025 academic year.

ERSUMA hails the effectiveness of these degree-based training courses, which usher in a new era in OHADA's agenda, and hereby invites the OHAD's wider community and friends to attend the graduation ceremony for trainees of this first batch scheduled for 2025 in N'Djamena, Republic of Chad.
