Bimodal Training session: “Marine insurance: drafting clauses, damage reporting and settlement, liability and remedies”, from 12 to 14 May 2025 in Abidjan

The Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), in partnership with the Professional Training Centre for Ports and Business Digitalisation of the West and Central Africa Ports Management Association (CFP-AGPAOC) with the support of the OHADA National Commission of Côte d'Ivoire, the OHADA International Committee of Genius (CIGHO) and SIR-Africa, is organising a bimodal training session in Abidjan at the Headquarters of OHADA's Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) from 12 to 14 May 2025.

Theme: “Marine insurance: drafting clauses, damage reporting and settlement, liability and remedies”

  • Trainer 1: Victor-Emmanuel BOKALLI, Professor of Law, Honorary Dean of the Faculties of Law and Political Science of the Universities of Ngaoundéré and Yaoundé II, Full Professor, Specialist in Transport Law, Trainer at ERSUMA;
  • Trainer 2: Mr Philippe Amavi Amétépé BOCCO, Chairman of the Management Board of the Vocational Training Centre (CFP-AGPAOC), trainer;
  • Moderator: Mr Koffi Drissa ADAMA, Doctor of Private Law, Director of the Claims Department at Continental Re-insurance CIMA, Insurance Trainer.

Online registration (Mandatory):

Final registration and payment done by 29 April 2025 entitles the participant to a 10% discount on training fees. NB: Completion of the online registration form constitutes provisional registration. Payment of the course fees constitutes final enrolment. The discount does not apply to the morning training session;

Participants taking part by videoconference will receive a connection and participation code after forwarding their payment voucher to ersuma@ohada.org / ersuma@ohada.org or after validation of their payment online;

Attendees will receive notification that their payment has been validated and will be invited to join the course.
