We have the honour to announce the 1st African Conference on International Commercial Law taking place on 13th-14th January 2011 at Hotel le Meridien, Douala-Cameroon.
The 1st African Conference on International Commercial Law is organised by the University of Basel in Switzerland and the University of Buea in Cameroon, with the support of UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) and OHADA (Organisation pour l'Harmonisation du Droit des Affaires en Afrique).
The first of its kind in Africa, the Conference will bring together key experts on international commercial law and arbitration from all around the world. The focus will be on international sales law, international arbitration and unification of general contract law. Early career researchers will also be given the opportunity to present their work.
Please note that the working languages will be alternatively French and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
