Aux termes des dispositions de l'article 11 AUPSRVE, l'opposant est tenu, à peine de déchéance, et dans le même acte que celui de l'opposant de signifier son recours à toutes les parties et au greffe de la juridiction ayant rendu la décision d'injonction de payer.
Ainsi, l'opposant qui se contente de signifier simplement son acte d'opposition au greffe de la juridiction qui a rendu la décision est déchu de son droit d'opposition.

On 10 April 2025, a strategic meeting was held in Abidjan between OHADA and the Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-UMOA).
