Depuis l'entrée en vigueur de l'AUPSRVE, la saisie-vente doit être précédée d'un commandement de payer signifié au débiteur au moins huit (08) jours avant la saisie. Le créancier qui agit sous l'empire de la loi ancienne, pourtant abrogée par la réforme OHADA, en signifiant un itératif commandement de payer dans les quarante huit (48) heures s'expose à la nullité de son exploit.

On 10 April 2025, a strategic meeting was held in Abidjan between OHADA and the Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-UMOA).
