Le débiteur saisi qui conteste la validité du commandement de payer à lui servi ainsi que du procès verbal de saisie-vente doit produire ces actes aux débats pour fonder l'opinion du juge. En l'absence de cette production, l'action en nullité de ces actes doit être déclarée non fondée par la juridiction compétente.

On 10 April 2025, a strategic meeting was held in Abidjan between OHADA and the Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-UMOA).
