La CCJA est incompétente, lorsque l'action introductive d'instance du défendeur porte sur une requête aux fins de paiement de diverses sommes d'argent suite à des prestations de service et que les premiers juges et ceux d'appel se sont prononcés sur le litige sans invoquer un quelconque Acte uniforme. Cette incompétence peut être relevée d'office.

On 10 April 2025, a strategic meeting was held in Abidjan between OHADA and the Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-UMOA). The two delegations, led respectively by Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, and Mr Badanam PATOKI, Chairman of AMF-UMOA, discussed three major topics pertaining to reporting challenges.
