OHADA conference in Accra (Ghana) on 28 th February 2008

In order to implement its annual agenda for 2007/2008, the OHADA CLUB TOGO, together with the OHADA CLUB RCI and the BENIN OHADA Circle, and in collaboration with the Franco Ghanaian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, are organizing in Accra (GHANA) on February 28, 2008, a conference-discussion on the following topic: "OHADA is a source of legal and judicial security, and thus a contributor to development in Africa". (Download program) Financed by UNIDA and French Embassy in Togo, the conference aims to:
  • Familiarize Ghanaian business people with the significant protections that OHADA offers investments within its jurisdiction.
  • Encourage the Ghanaian authorities, by first convincing civil society, to initiate a process potentially leading to accession to the OHADA Treaty.
The meeting will be successively held by the three clubs on the topics:
  • Legal security under OHADA
  • Judicial security under OHADA
  • The impact of legal and judicial security on the African business environment.

    Je voudrais juste apporter mon soutien à votre initiative qui va en droite ligne dans la promotion et la vulgarisation du droit OHADA. Nous aurions voulu en temps que voisin, être associé à cette activité importante pour notre sous-region pour partager notre experience mais à defaut d'invitation nous lui souhaitons un plein succès.

    "L'OHADA, un vecteur de sécurité juridique et judiciaire au service du développement en Afrique". Nous pensons que les leçons pouvant découller de ce thème poura être d'un grand intéret pour la population ghannéene. En plus, nous espéropns que se sera l'occasion de poser les jalons d'un Droit Ohada dans ce pays.

    Très satisfait de la création des Clubs ohada de Kara et de Paris, c'est là la preuve de la volonté de faire vivre et grandir le Droit OHADA. Nous espérons que tous ces clubs pouront travailler en harmonie afin de favoriser la réussite de leurs objectifs.
