In order to implement its annual agenda for 2007/2008, the OHADA CLUB TOGO, together with the OHADA CLUB RCI and the BENIN OHADA Circle, and in collaboration with the Franco Ghanaian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, are organizing in Accra (GHANA) on February 28, 2008, a conference-discussion on the following topic: "OHADA is a source of legal and judicial security, and thus a contributor to development in Africa". (Download program) Financed by UNIDA and French Embassy in Togo, the conference aims to:

• Familiarize Ghanaian business people with the significant protections that OHADA offers investments within its jurisdiction.
• Encourage the Ghanaian authorities, by first convincing civil society, to initiate a process potentially leading to accession to the OHADA Treaty.

The meeting will be successively held by the three clubs on the topics:

• Legal security under OHADA
• Judicial security under OHADA
• The impact of legal and judicial security on the African business environment.
