OHADA / MOROCCO / Activities to raise awareness and promote the OHADA Law, 11th November 2015 in Rabat
With the funding of the Investment Climate Facility Fund for Africa (ICF), the Permanent Secretariat of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA) is organizing an information day on OHADA and two awareness-raising workshops relating to the new Uniform Act organizing collective proceedings for the wiping off debts.
Scheduled to take place on the 11th November 2015 in Rabat (Morocco), the information day on OHADA will present the Organization and the advantages afforded by its legal system to investors, business community, diplomatic missions, academics and law professionals. The information day on OHADA follows the OHADA Days organized last year in Casablanca (Morocco) and Paris (France).
Moreover, awareness-raising workshops relating to the new Uniform Act organizing collective proceedings for the wiping off debts will bring together academics, economic operators and law professionals on 27 and 28 October 2015 in Bamako (Mali) and on 30 and 31 October 2015 in Cotonou (Benin) to discuss the key innovations of the new Uniform Act.
Associate Professor Philippe ROUSSEL GALLE, who participated in the preparation of the draft Uniform Act will be the main facilitator. Two other workshops will follow in Central Africa.
The Permanent Secretary seizes this opportunity to thank ICF which provides the funding and the Governments of Member States which kindly allowed the organization of such events.
