affiche-enConakry, the capital city of the Republic of Guinea, will, on 23 and 24 November 2017, host the Ministers in charge of Justice and the Ministers of Finance of the seventeen Member States of OHADA, on the occasion of the 45th ordinary session of the Council of Ministers of the Organization.

The agenda of this second annual session include the examination of financial files and, in particular, the adoption of the Organization's budget for the 2018 financial year, the election of five new Judges of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) as well as an important normative work.

As usual, the meeting of Ministers will be preceded by the preparatory meeting of the Committee of Experts. Members of this Committee will devote a special session on the draft texts submitted to the Council of Ministers for adoption.

The forthcoming session of the Council of Ministers is, in principle, the last ministerial session organized under the auspices of the Republic of Guinea for the year 2017. Indeed, the Republic of Gabon will be chairing the OHADA Council of Ministers for 2018, and will host the institutional meetings of the Organization during this year.

The minutes of the next session of the OHADA Council of Ministers will soon be available on www.ohada.org.

The Permanent Secretary
Prof. Dorothé C. SOSSA
