The High Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), organizes from 10 to 13 December 2019 at the headquarters of Benin National Chamber of Notaries (CNNB) in Cotonou (Benin), a training for qualification on: “Public Enterprises Governance: good practices in State portfolio management”.
Content of the training:
This session aims to:
- Define and determine the foundations of public enterprises governance;
- Examine the provisions of the UACCEIG related to good governance;
- Identify internal and external stakeholders in public enterprises governance;
- Clarify the actors of public enterprises governance and their roles;
- Analyze the mechanisms which govern executives' conduct and their responsibilities in the management of the State portfolio;
- Evaluate governance practices;
- Review the operating mechanisms of each body of a public enterprise, the relations between the different bodies and stakeholders;
- Share good practices of State portfolio management.

- Barrister Désiré AIHOU, Lawyer, Doctor in Private Law, Technical Legal Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Economy of Benin;
- Mr. Christian Désiré MIGAN, Chartered Accountant, Statutory Auditor, Chairman of OHADA Accounting Standards Commission (CNC-OHADA), Associate Senior Lecturer at IUT2 II in Grenoble, former Chairman of the Board of Benin National Register of accountants and chartered accountants (OECCA-BENIN), Managing Partner of the firm CDM-CONSULTANTS.

Managers and executives(Chairpersons of Board of directors, Chairperson and Managing Directors, CEO, Deputy Director General, ...) of State-owned enterprises; members of executive committees; executives from Ministries in charge of State Portfolio Management; directors of state-owned companies, government companies, semi-public companies, majority or minority State-owned companies; managers and executives of sectoral agencies; executives and employees of private companies conducting a public service task; accountants; Public sector managers (Directors of Human Resources, Administrative and Financial Directors, Secretaries General, Directors and Heads of Legal Services ...); Statutory Auditors; chartered accountants; auditors; Judicial officers of the treasury; executives and agents in charge of control of the State portfolio management; State inspectors general; general auditors; executives and controllers of the Treasury; judges of courts of account; other judges; lawyers; notaries; corporate lawyers;
