Visit of the OHADA Club of the University of Douala to the OHADA Permanent Secretariat

On Monday 15 July 2024, OHADA's Permanent Secretariat welcomed a delegation from the OHADA Club of the University of Douala, made up of PhD and other law students, as well as trainee lawyers, notary clerks and accountants.
On this occasion, Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, congratulated the Club on its commitment to promoting the Organisation. He also gave the delegation some advice on how to run the Club smoothly.
In addition to a guided tour of the premises housing the Permanent Secretariat, the members of the OHADA Club delegation from the University of Douala took part in a discussion led by Dr. Yaovi Bob-Marley LIASSIDJI, Head of OHADA's Legal Affairs and Communication Department. The presentation and subsequent discussions focused on OHADA's origins, institutional architecture and legal system.
The visit ended with a tour of the Permanent Secretariat's Documentation Centre.
