Bimodal training session: “Practsing as a judicial representative in collective proceedings in the OHADA region”, Burkina Faso - Visioconference, 09 to 11 September 2024

The Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), in partnership with the Société Civile Professionnelle d'Avocats Associés SCPA Légalis Advisory and the National Order of Chartered Accountants and Certified Accountants of Burkina Faso (ONECCA-BF), is organising a bimodal training session from 9 to 11 September 2024. This session will be held simultaneously on-site at Sopatel Silmande Hôtel de Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) and by visioconference on the theme: “Practsing as a Judicial Representative in Collective Proceedings in the OHADA Region”

To deal effectively with corporate insolvency, it is necessary to anticipate its occurrence, know how to prevent it and master the rules applicable to different situations. However, nobody may be appointed as an expert in preventive settlement or as a trustee in preventive settlement, receivership or liquidation proceedings unless they are registered on the national list of judicial representatives. This training course will highlight the twists and turns of the judicial representative's job in the light of the Uniform Act Organizing Collective Procedures for the Settlement of Debts (AUPCAP).

Online registration (mandatory):

Final registration and payment by 28 August 2024 will entitle you to a 10% discount on the training fees. NB: Completion of the online registration form constitutes provisional registration. Payment of the training fees constitutes final enrolment.

Participants attending by video-conference will receive their connection and participation code once they have sent their payment slip to ersuma@ohada.org / gaffan.ersuma@ohada.org or upon validation of their online payment.

Participants attending the course on-site will receive notification that their payment has been validated and will be invited to join the course.
